The minimum capacity of the Lancia Ypsilon's boot is 245 litres, and the compartment is well usable because - apart from the small lateral bulges - the shapes are regular. The step is a bit steep, but that's normal in this type of car when you want to gain a few more litres. However, there is no double bottom to eliminate irregularities, so there is not even a place to store the hat once it is taken off. However, there is a shopping hook and a courtesy light. The covering is not very pleasant to the touch, but at least it covers the entire compartment (unlike other competitors).
